Registration for CAMaCon 2014 is now open and we are extending the deadline for registration to the 27th of June!

Places are limited so act now!

CAMaCon 2014 is a free Cold Atoms and Magnetism conference taking place at the University of Birmingham on the 3rd and 4th of July. It is a Condensed Matter Physics conference for PhD students and junior researchers, designed to foster networking and collaboration between research groups. In addition, senior researchers will emphasise the topics of Cold Atoms and Magnetism by presenting the latest progress in these fields.

~~ Free Transport ~~
We will be running a free coach (seating 15 people) from the University of Nottingham on the 3rd of July for the Cold Atoms day, so all you have to do is register online at and hop on the coach in the morning to attend! Please could someone from the University contact us to let us know where it's best to send the coach to collect you?

If you would like to present a poster or a talk please email This is an excellent opportunity to present your work, and each day there is a poster prize of £100.
